The Swami Vivekananda college library caters towards more than a thousand enthusiastic student learners.  Refurbished in 2001 under the new name “New Millennium Information Center” which is dedicated to Reverend Swami Damodarananda.  The library contains around 7800 books.  The variety of books are ranging from Fiction to Non-Fiction, as well as Reference Books, Pacific Island Collection, Encyclopedias and Spiritual Books that have been proudly sponsored by The High Commission of India.  On that note, it is with great pleasure that we acknowledge late Mrs. Goindamma Pillai, one of our alumina for sponsoring of one section of the fiction books.

The library is also equipped with 20 operational computers, allowing students to access the internet and a wider range of services to complete their projects and carry out necessary research work respectively and also do online application for different universities for further studies. In addition, the library provides services such as printing, photocopying, scanning, laminating and binding for students and staffs. It provides daily e-edition newspapers, Fiji Sun and magazines to help students and teachers keep up with what’s going on around the country.

Lastly, the New Millennium Information center provides Careers information to Years 12 and 13 students on the available courses in universities in the form of brochures, flyers and prospectus. These brochures include programs from the university of the south pacific, Fiji national university, Fiji school of medicine and the university of Fiji.
